Ahead Of The February 14 General Election, Pertamina Ensures Elpiji Stock Is Safe

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus ensured that LPG gas stocks were safe ahead of the general election.

Area Manager Comm, Rel & CSR Sunday Rahedi said his party increased the supply of 3 kg LPG at the agent and base level for Regencies / Cities in Pantura - Madura, East Java by 969 metric tons (MT) or 47.7 percent of the daily normal consumption of 2,031 MT.

In addition, the addition was made to Bondowoso, Jember and Lumajang Regencies totaling 124 MT or 8.1 percent compared to normal daily consumption in these 3 districts.

Sunday said the addition to certain cities/districts in East Java was based on the projected increase in consumption and consumption monitoring in recent weeks.

"Other regencies/cities where there is no additional stock are deemed sufficient to see that there is not a significant increase in consumption during the several days of this red holiday and the stock at the regional agents and bases is in a condition capable of meeting their needs in the next few days," said Sunday, quoted Monday, February 12.

Sunday emphasized that LPG stocks in East Java are in very safe condition.

For fuel, ahead of this election there is no significant increase in consumption, however, Pertamina continues to strengthen the stock for all gas stations throughout East Java by 2 percent for gasoline (gasoline) and 3 percent for Gas Oil (diesel) because based on the projected increase in consumption, it is not too significant, namely 0.9 percent for gasoline and 1.3 percent for gasoil.

"We urge the public to buy 3 kg LPG at Pertamina's Official Base using an ID card to participate in the Government Circular in order to make the LPG Proper Subsidy program a success.
