IDX Records An Increase In Stock Transaction Volume Reaches 22.80 Percent

JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that IDX stock trading data during the period from 5 to 7 February 2024 was closed in various ways.

The highest increase in a week occurred in the average daily volume of stock transactions, which increased by 22.80 percent over the week, to 21.15 billion shares from 17.23 billion shares a week ago.

Furthermore, market capitalization this week also increased, amounting to 0.19 percent from Rp11,460.02 trillion in the previous week to Rp11,481.43 trillion at the close of this week.

Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) this week weakened by 0.05 percent, closed at 7,235,152 from 7,238,785 at the close last week.

Furthermore, the average daily transaction value of shares decreased by 4.37 percent to Rp10.03 trillion from Rp10.49 trillion a week ago.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction frequency of shares also weakened by 7.34 percent to 1,032,639 transactions from 1,114,490 transactions a week ago.

Furthermore, foreign investors on Wednesday recorded a net purchase value of IDR 1.43 trillion and throughout 2024 foreign investors had recorded a net purchase value of IDR 12.38 trillion.
