The Ministry Of PUPR Ensures That The Ambles Road To IKN Can Be Passed

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Task Force for the Implementation of Infrastructure Development of the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) ensures that the national road to the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) which collapsed some time ago can be passed.

The subsidence road is located in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP).

"The road from the direction of Semboja to KIPP. (Time) in the afternoon has been completed," said Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force Danis Sumadilaga when met at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, February 2.

Danis explained that the handling of the road was immediately carried out quickly after the damage report was received.

According to him, the subsidence occurred because the road was not strong enough to withstand the load from vehicles carrying palm oil and heavy equipment.

"That's a national access road. At one point it collapsed and broke. In the morning until noon we followed up and in the afternoon it was passable," he said.

As previously reported, the road access to IKN in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, collapsed and one truck fell, on Monday, January 29, 2024.

The collapsed road is precisely located in Tengin Baru Village, Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser.

The road access to IKN collapsed was recorded in a video circulating on social media. In the video circulating, the truck loaded had fallen right above the culvert.
