LPS Prepares To Pay For Deposit Of BPRS Customer Mojo Artho

JAKARTA - The Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) has carried out the process of payment of deposit guarantee claims and the implementation of liquidation of PT Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Syariah (BPRS) Mojo Artho. It is located in Mojokerto City (Perseroda), East Java.

Secretary of the LPS Institution, Dimas Yuliharto, said that the process of payment of claims for customer deposits and the implementation of bank liquidation was carried out after the Mojo Artho Mojo Artho City (Perseroda) permit was revoked by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) since January 26, 2024.

"In order to pay the claim of guaranteeing deposits from BPRS customer Mojo Artho Mojokerto City, LPS will ensure customer deposits can be paid in accordance with applicable regulations," said Dimas, in Jakarta, Saturday.

In addition, LPS will conduct reconciliation and verification of deposit data and other information to determine the deposits to be paid. The reconciliation and verification in question will be completed by LPS no later than 90 working days from the date of revocation of the business license. Customer funds payments will be made in stages during that period of time.

Customers can see the status of their deposits at the Mojo Artho Mojokerto City BPRS Office or through the LPSwww.lps.go.id website, after LPS announced the payment of claims for guaranteeing deposits from BPRS customer Mojo Artho Mojokerto City.

For bank debtors, they can still make installment payments or repay loans at the Mojo Artho Mojokerto City BPRS office by contacting the LPS Liquidation Team.

Meanwhile, Dimas appealed to BPRS customers Mojo Artho Mojokerto City to remain calm and not be provoked or provoked to do things that could hinder the process of paying bank guarantee and liquidation claims, and did not trust those who claimed to be able to help manage the payment of deposit guarantee claims with a number of rewards or costs charged to customers.
