Furthermore, further study studies are expected to run smoothly so that concrete cooperation can be realized in the future in the not too distant future.

Based on the initial stage study, the regional management estimates that there is industrial potential with a gas demand that can reach 45 BBTUD. PGN seeks to provide gas in the form of Liquefied Natural Gas for user energy needs in KIMONG.

"With the gas supply in KIMONG, it is hoped that it will attract investors to invest in the region. PGN is fully committed to maintaining the availability of supply, so that it can be utilized optimally according to needs," said Ratih in his official statement, Friday, January 19.

Ratih explained, as a national gas aggregator, PGN provides pipeline, LNG and CNG gas services, so that they can support gas availability for KIMONG which can be added value for industrial estates.

"We are also experienced in supplying natural gas in approximately 2,600 industries and more than 800 thousand households. This experience can complement development plans in the region," Ratih continued.

He also said that this collaboration could develop more widely, considering that PGN has its subsidiaries and affiliates in various business spheres. Thus, PGN can participate in KIMONG's development plan with no limited gas distribution.

Cooperation with KIMONG strengthens PGN's role in Eastern Indonesia in efforts to expand natural gas utilization. It is necessary to aggressively develop natural gas utilization so as not to be centralized in Java and Sumatra. In addition, utilization of natural gas in Eastern Indonesia is important to grow new economic points based on low-energy emissions, namely natural gas," concluded Ratih.
