GIS Supports Christmas With The Ministry Of SOEs, Strengthens Fundamentals With Harmoni To Continue Transformation

JAKARTA - The Ministry of SOEs held a celebration of Christmas Bersama Kementerian BUMN dan BUMN Tahun 2023. The celebration was held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, and was attended in a hybrid manner in ten other locations, namely, Medan, Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, Surakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, Manado, Ambon, Kupang, and Timika, on Monday 15 January.

PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) and its subsidiary, PT Semen Tonasa, together with PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) as the person in charge of the Makassar area, held a Joint Christmas celebration at the Four Points Hotel, Makassar, South Sulawesi.

Present at the event were Director of Finance and Management of Portfolio SIG, Andriano Hosny Panangian; President Director of Mitratel, Theodorus Ardi Hartoko; and President Director of PT Semen Tonasa, Asruddin.

The Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir in his speech said that the celebration of religious holidays organized by the Ministry of SOEs and SOEs was an effort to create harmony within SOEs.

"What we have done so far is our efforts to synergize and combine all the differences that exist in SOEs. SOEs consist of various people in Indonesia. Therefore, I ask religious activities that support each other and respect each other to be part of the fundamental development of AKHLAK BUMN. We hold Hindu holidays in Taman Mini, the big day of Buddhism in Borobudur, I think I have come two to three times even though at that time we were in a COVID-19 condition, and of course we celebrate Islamic holidays too," said Erick Thohir.

Separately, Director of Finance and Management of Portfolio SIG, Andriano Hosny Panangian said, the 2023 BUMN Joint Christmas celebration is the second joint Christmas celebration of the BUMN extended family after it was successfully held last year. GIS is honored to be able to carry out its mandate again as the coordinator of the BUMN Joint Christmas celebrations, where this year GIS is the coordinator of the organizers in Makassar.

"This moment of joy is a happy moment, where all SOE people can unite in worship and celebration of Christmas together. Hopefully we can continue to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, foster enthusiasm in every work and work, and continue to walk together in God's guidance to realize the transformation of SOEs," said Andriano Hosny Panangian.

In addition to the celebrations attended by Christians from BUMN and BUMN Subsidiaries located in Makassar and its surroundings, during a series of Joint Christmas celebrations, GIS and Mitratel through the CSR Program, distributing assistance for the renovation of the Mamasa Toraja Church, worship equipment at the GKSS Seger Mandalle Pangkep Church, facilities and infrastructure at the Cenderawasih Catholic High School in Makassar, as well as donations to the Maros New Generation Creation Orphanage.

Meanwhile, at the BUMN Joint Christmas celebration at JCC, Jakarta, GIS brought 26 types of products from seven MSMEs fostered by its subsidiaries, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI) Narogong Factory. The seven MSMEs include the PUSAKA (Women Aware of Work) group, Dapoer Jenk'elin, Pawon Kita, Berkah Avis Jaya, JVJ Food, Dapoer Salsa and Dapoer Sampirieun which sell products derived by atsiri, snacks to ecoprint handicrafts in the form of tumblers, clothes, pencil venues, vouchers, bags and wall decorations.

The presence of the MSME exhibition at the BUMN Joint Christmas celebration is intended to provide space for MSMEs fostered by each BUMN to introduce their products and participate in enlivening the events held. The participation of MSMEs that are at the heart of the local economy is also expected to help fostered MSME partners to improve their experience in participating in national-scale events.
