AMIN National Team Pasang Target Bauran EBT Capai 23 Percent In 2029

JAKARTA - The National Team for Winning Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMINAn National Team) targets a new and renewable energy mix (EBT) of 23 percent in the national electricity system in 2029.

For your information, the target set by candidate pair (paslon) number 01 is delayed. In fact, the target is 4 years longer than the plan set by the current government.

Secretary of the AMIN National Team Expert Council, Wijayanto Samirin, did not deny that this target was pushed back.

Even so, he stressed, the targets set must be realistic.

"We have a target of the energy mix for EBT at 23 percent in 2029, indeed a little more backwards than the government's target because we really hope that the target is realistic," Wijayanto told reporters, Wednesday, January 10.

Wijayanto explained that this target was made after calculating the scenario for the clean energy mix in the electricity system of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN.

To achieve the target of 23 percent of the energy mix, continued Wijayanto, his party will take advantage of the contribution of geothermal or geothermal.

He said, so far the utilization has only been 8 percent while the availability is 40 percent.

Therefore, Wijayanto said that his party would rely on geothermal power plants or PLTP as the focus of the EBT generator.

In addition, there are also hydroelectric power plants (PLTA) and biofuels.

"We are waiting for solar panel investment to decrease for a longer time so that we can make it a feasible alternative in funding, now it's too expensive," he said.
