Bulog Boss Calls Rice Supply 1.6 Million Tons Able To Maintain Price Stablicity In 2024

JAKARTA - The Bulog Public Company (Perum) stated that the current rice stock is 1.6 million tons. This amount includes imported rice stocks that are on its way. "So that the amount is safe for distribution needs and is able to maintain price stability in 2024," said Director of Perum Bulog Bayu Krisnamurthi quoting Antara. Since the implementation of modernization efforts, Bayu said that Bulog's rice quality is guaranteed, and its distribution can be carried out quickly in emergency situations or to overcome the need for a surge in rice and other food demand. "We have prepared as well as possible the positioning of Perum Bulog, so that currently Bulog is ready to carry out its duties as the main operator to carry out food management assignments from the Government," said Bayu. This visit activity was also followed by the Deputy Minister of BUMN Kartika Wirjoatmodjo alias Tiko who praised Bulog's Rice to Rice (RtR) food technology facility, as well as checking the adequacy of the Government Rice Reserve (CBP) stock controlled by Bulog.Tiko appreciated Bulog's efforts to bring Rice to Rice to Rice machine technology to ensure better availability, quality, and quality of rice, as well as having halal certification.

In addition, Tiko also ensures that the adequacy of rice stocks controlled by the government is truly guaranteed. "The supply of Perum Bulog food warehouses with Rice to Rice machines, the ability to manage government food quality is also getting better and efforts to ensure food availability in a long period of time can also be fulfilled," said Tiko.

Tiko also visited Bulog Warehouse which has implemented the Warehouse Management System, and is filled with abundant rice stocks for the needs of distributing government rice reserves. "We have seen for ourselves how Perum Bulog is able to provide basic needs, especially rice assigned by the Government in very safe quantities. This rice stock is also available evenly distributed in all Bulog Warehouse units throughout Indonesia," said Tiko. at the end of his visit, the Deputy Minister of BUMN and his entourage also saw the Nusantara Food Center owned by Bulog with the name BOSSFOOD which sells quality products at affordable prices.
