Actively Building The Country Via SBN, The Ministry Of Finance Gives Awards To BCA

JAKARTA At the end of 2023, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance awarded nine awards to PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) as the Partner Distribution and Main Dealer of the Best Government Securities for the period 2022 and 2023.

The award was handed over by the Director General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance Suminto to Senior Executive Vice President Treasury & International Banking BCA Branko Windoe, recently.

BCA Senior Executive Vice President Treasury & International Banking Branko Windoe said that BCA continues to strive and is committed to supporting various government programs, one of which is by playing a role as a State Securities (SBN) Distribution Partner (Midis) in developing the country and providing service excellence to customers.

"As a national bank, we are grateful for the appreciation of the Ministry of Finance for BCA for always supporting the issuance of SBN both in the primary market and trading in the secondary market," said Branko Windoe in his official statement, Friday, December 22.

As a distribution partner of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, Branko said that his party saw a positive trend in SBN investment with the increasing level of public financial literacy and customers, as well as increasing awareness of the importance of investing.

For data information as of September 2023, the growth of customer Asset Under Management (AUM) from mutual fund products and bonds of more than 40 percent YoY. And throughout 2023, BCA has sold 7 Retail SBNs with a transaction value of more than IDR 40 trillion.

"On this occasion, we would like to thank the customers for the trust in BCA as an extension of the government's hand in developing the country. This award from the Ministry of Finance is our motivation to continue to expand the reach of education and socialization to the community to help build the country through SBN investment," said Branko.

Branko explained that BCA customers can invest in Mutual Funds, Bonds & SBN through the Welma feature in the myBCA application. To obtain market information, investment education, and investment events, customers can access the "Wealth Insight" tab on the MyBCA Notification menu.

"BCA always innovates to support and provide easy investment for customers," he said.

The nine awards received by BCA include, Best Retail State Securities Distribution Partners in 2022, Best Retail SBSN Distribution Partners in Conventional Commercial Bank Category in 2022 and Best Retail State Securities Distribution Partners in 2023.

Furthermore, other awards are, Best Retail SBSN Distribution Partners in 2023, Main Dealers in Government Securities with Best Performance in 2022 and Main Dealers in Government Securities with the Best Performance in the 2022 Securrency Market.

Then the next award, the Main Dealer of Government Securities with the Best Performance in 2023, the Main Dealer of Government Securities with the Best Performance in the Securities Market in 2023 and the Best SBSN Main Dealer in 2023.
