JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) has installed PLTS on its Floating Crane (FC) Fleet or Dwipangga Crane Ship.
The installation of PLTS at FC Dwipangga is the first trial on a Floating Crane Barge fleet.
PTK has operated since 2021, the installation of PLTS on this fleet was carried out on October 19 2023 with a capacity of 6.4 Kilowatt peak (kWp).
Since the operation of PLTS at FC Dwipangga until the end of November 2023, the use of PLTS has been able to produce fuel oil (BBM) usage efficiency of 3.26 Kilo Liters (KL).
Apart from that, the use of PLTS is also able to reduce exhaust gas emissions by 7.3 tons of CO2.
This effort was carried out by PTK to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in its operational activities.
After installing the first Solar Power Plant (PLTS) on the Transko Pari 01 fleet and Energy Substitution Shore Connection at PTK Port Plaju.
