JAKARTA - One of the reasons for Bank DKI's support for people with disabilities is through active participation in the celebration of the peak of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Level of Persons with Disabilities Day (HDI), which will be held in Dunia Fantasi, Ancol, Jakarta on Thursday 7 December.

The HDI 2023 event has the theme United in Action to Achieve SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), for, with, by Persons with Disabilities, initiated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service and attended by 1,500 people with disabilities and companions.

In the event, Bank DKI also participated in supporting the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owned by persons with disabilities, by providing additional capital assistance for business development which was handed over directly by the Director of Technology and Operations and concurrently the Managing Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono. On that occasion Amirul stated that this initiative is a form of Bank DKI's concern and commitment in building an inclusive society.

The event was also attended by the Special Staff of President Angkie Yudistia, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono along with a number of related officials, Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service, Premi Lestari, as well as 1,500 people with disabilities and assistants in government and private disability institutions, Social Organizations and Social Welfare Institutions for people with disabilities in DKI Jakarta Province.

On another occasion, Bank DKI also distributed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance worth Rp. 100,000,000, - (one hundred million rupiah) in the form of tools, including electric wheelchairs, netra sticks, hearing aids, crew, to monocular telescopes, for people with disabilities in DKI Jakarta Province in collaboration with the Empowerment Empowerment Foundation on Monday, December 11.
