Contract Technology, Hutama Karya Ready To Work On 8 ASN 2 Flats At IKN

PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has signed an integrated construction contract to Design and Build the Construction of the ASN 2 Flats located in West Residence, IKN Nusantara Area.

EVP Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Tjahjo Purnomo said the construction of 8 ASN flats with an investment value of IDR 1.488 trillion had a scope of design, construction, and maintenance work.

In detail, Hutama Karya's scope of work includes land maturation, construction safety, structure (under and above), architecture, mechanical systems, electricity, and piping, infrastructure, to landscapes and green open spaces.

"Meanwhile, the timing of this project is 464 days or 15 months," said Tjahjo, quoted from Hutama Karya's official website, Friday, December 8.

Tjahjo said, to produce a smart building project which is also environmentally oriented, Hutama Karya implemented a number of digital construction technology usage in the implementation of its construction.

For example, the construction of a structure with an aluminum formwork system as a substitute for conventional sorting or molding.

The use of this system will accelerate the casting cycle to only six days, digital monitoring can be carried out, and environmentally friendly because it can minimize waste.

Then, to reduce electricity consumption, this residence will be equipped with solar panels with an on grade system.

Meanwhile, the Rusun Building building in IKN will also be equipped with a smart building system that can be controlled using a device.

Then, in terms of comfort for residents, each building which will consist of 12 floors with a division of 2nd Floor is a podium that will be supported by public facilities, such as sports venues, public spaces, and so on. The 4-10 floor will be used for housing.

Through a global business approach by prioritizing the principles of Environment, Social, Governance (ESG), Hutama Karya also conducts regional arrangements and utilization of reservoirs as park areas and others.

"With this project, it is hoped that ASNs who start working in the IKN area in 2024 can feel comfortable and at home working in the new IKN area," he added.
