Knock! Pertamina Again Lowers Pertamax Cs Price

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) again lowered the price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM) on December 1, 2023.

Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Irto Ginting, in his statement to the media, said that his party was committed to periodically evaluating the selling price of non-subsidized fuel products (JBU) in accordance with the trend of fluctuating the average price of reference world oil publications, namely the publication price of Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS)/Argus and the rupiah currency exchange rate.

He emphasized that periodic changes adjust the price fluctuations every month, specifically in the period from 25 to 24 in the previous month.

Price changes according to the fluctuation trend are normal and can be done by all business entities in accordance with applicable regulations.

"In accordance with the trend of fluctuating the MOPS world oil price and referring to the price formulation according to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, periodic changes in non-subsidized fuel prices will always occur.

"Our commitment is to ensure that Pertamina's non-subsidized fuel prices are competitive and transparent for consumers. People become accustomed to regular non-subsidized fuel price adjustments," said Irto, quoted on Friday, December 1.

The price reduction applies to Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax Green, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex.

For the DKI Jakarta area, Pertamax fuel has decreased by Rp. 50 from the previous Rp. 13,400 to Rp. 13,350. Then Pertamax Green fell to Rp. 14,900 from Rp. 15,000. Pertamax Turbo decreased to Rp. 15,350 from the previous Rp. 15,500 per liter.

Then Dexlite is priced at Rp. 15,550 from the previous Rp. 16,950 and Pertamina Dex to Rp. 15,350 from Rp. 17,750 per liter.

Meanwhile, subsidized fuel prices such as Pertalite have not been adjusted or remain at IDR 10,000.
