The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) revealed that the housing sector is the investment that investors are most interested in in developing the State Capital or IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan.

OIKN Secretary Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya said, until now the Letter of Intent (LoI) received by OIKN reached more than 300 LoI.

"The housing sector is still a sector that has a lot of interest in IKN Nusantara," said Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, November 14.

This can be seen from 130 LoI related to the housing sector received by OIKN. In addition to housing, the second sector that has the most interest in IKN is the commercial sector with 71 LoI.

The education sector is the third sector which is also in demand in IKN development with 63 LoI.

The transportation sectors and health facilities are the fourth and fifth sectors with the most interest in IKN Nusantara.

According to Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, LoI in the transportation sector is related to the provision of smart and environmentally friendly public transportation, such as electric buses.

Environmentally friendly transportation is important, because vehicles that are allowed to enter and pass through IKN are environmentally friendly or renewable energy-based vehicles.

It is known, the Government opens up opportunities for investment in the housing and property sectors in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

The need for houses in IKN is very large because the center of government moves there followed by State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and Hankam officers as well as the general public.

Opportunities for investment in the housing and property sectors in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) are very prospective. This is because the housing needs in IKN are in accordance with Presidential Regulation (Perpres) 63/2022 concerning the Detailed Main Plan for the capital city of Nusantara around 16,000 houses.

The government sees that the housing and property sectors continue to grow strongly with the increasingly massive infrastructure development in IKN.

In order to increase investment in the property sector in IKN, the Government also continues to collaborate with various working partners, both developer and banking associations, with various policies that can strengthen housing and property growth in Indonesia.
