BSI Salurkan KUR Rp32 Billion In Madiun Until Early November 2023

MADIUN - Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Madiun Branch Office has disbursed people's business credit (KUR) financing of IDR 32 billion until early November 2023, out of a total ceiling of IDR 37 billion.

"The realization of KUR financing that we have distributed is in accordance with the target set for business actors in 2023. For the Madiun area, it is already Rp32 billion," said BSI Micro Pawning Area Manager Kediri, Nuswan Aswindo, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 11.

He added that the KUR financing had been distributed to more than 1,000 MSME actors spread across the Madiun area.

As an effort to contribute to increasing regional economic growth and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), his party continues to strive to distribute KUR to business actors in the Madiun area and its surroundings.

"BSI is committed to supporting and contributing in improving the economy of the people in the Madiun region, one of which is by maximizing the distribution of KUR," he said.

He is optimistic that the KUR allocation in the Madiun and Kediri areas of BSI can be fully absorbed for MSME financing in 2023 and in the coming years so that efforts to increase people's income and economic growth can be realized.

In order to minimize bad credit, BSI has mitigated and selected to find suitable customers to partner.

In addition, Nuswan continued, his team also made visits, monitors, and assistance to help MSME players who were experiencing difficulties, so that the chances of bad credit could be reduced.

Mayor Madiun Maidi, who was present at the event, said the number of MSMEs in Madiun City continued to grow as economic improvements in his area and assistance with surrounding financial institutions.

"The number of MSME actors in Madiun City continues to grow. From the previous around 23,000 units, now it has become around 34 thousand units," said Mayor Maidi.

According to him, the Madiun City Government continues to encourage MSMEs in Madiun City to grow and develop. In addition to providing guidance through related OPDs, the Madiun City Government also supports through ease of licensing to provide recommendations for business actors to access capital assistance in financial institutions.
