JAKARTA - The Government Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) recorded that up to October 27, 2023 transactions through e-catalogs or electronic catalogs had reached Rp161.3 trillion, while in 2022 the total transactions amounted to Rp83.9 trillion.

Head of LKPP Hendrar Prihadi said the transaction achievement was followed by 6.9 million products that had been broadcast on e-catalog until October 27, 2023. Where in 2022 related to e-catalog or electronic catalogs there were only 2.4 million products.

"If in 2022 there are 2.4 million air products with a total transaction of Rp. 83.9 trillion, thank God on October 27, 2023, air products have reached 6.9 million products and those who transact have reached Rp. 161.3 trillion," said Hendrar at the National Coordination Meeting for the Procurement of Government Goods or Services in 2023, Tuesday, November 7.

In addition, Hendrar said that currently the performance of the procurement of government goods or services nationally is on a positive trend as reflected in the realization of domestic product expenditure (PDN) which has reached 90 percent on October 27, 2023. This figure grew when compared to PDN spending in 2022 of 76 percent.

"Then other positive growth is reflected in the realization of the procurement of goods and services for Micro, Small and Cooperative Enterprises (MSMEs) in 2022, which was recorded at 36.1 percent, while on October 27, 2023, the realization was 37.6 percent, although the target in the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia (Inpres) Number 2 of 2022 is at least 40 percent," he said.

Furthermore, Hendrar conveyed, the General Procurement Plan (RUP) in 2023 is IDR 1,174.56 trillion.

As of October 27, 2023, it has reached IDR 810.92 trillion or has penetrated 65.30 percent of the planned total.

Hendrar hopes that the remaining 34.70 percent of the RUP that has not been realized will be fulfilled by the end of 2023 and is optimistic that the government's performance in the procurement of goods and services will record a more positive number.

In addition, Hendrar said that LKPP will be preparing to launch a new e-catalog platform supported by PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk and not only serves as product selection but delivery to payment gates is able to optimize Government Credit Cards (KKP).

"In the new platform, this catalog will function not only in product selection but also in the selection of shipments to payment gateways which can be intended to optimize the KKP and KKPD," he explained.

On the same occasion, Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masuduki said that until November 1, 2023, the realization of the procurement of PBJ Goods and Services for MSMEs had reached Rp221.49 trillion.

"This figure is quite good compared to the previous year, but we still have to fight for it. And we also continue to make assistance efforts for them, doing business matching," he said.
