Inaugurating 26 Officials, Sri Mulyani Advises Never To Finish Learning

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati inaugurated 26 middle high leadership officials, Pratama and non echelon organizational units at the Mezzanine Hall, Ministry of Finance, Thursday, November 2.

The inauguration consisted of 2 Middle High Leadership Officials (Echelon I), namely Expert Staff for State Revenue and Expert Staff for Organization, Bureaucracy and Information Technology, Head of the National Single Window Institute.

In addition, it also inaugurated 22 Primary High Leadership Officials (Echelon II) from the Directorate General of Taxes, Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Directorate General of Treasury, Directorate General of Financial Balance, and Director of State Financial Polytechnic STAN.

Sri Mulyani emphasized that the Ministry of Finance as an organization that has an important role in managing state finances will continue to improve and improve its performance.

Furthermore, the woman who is familiarly called Ani said that this was done to support Indonesia's journey to achieve its goals through healthy, credible, trustworthy, and sustainable state financial management.

"Why do we need to continue to improve ourselves? Because we see that the environment where our economy must continue to move in creating job opportunities, reducing poverty, creating prosperity, justice will continue to change. And with this environmental change, the challenges of state finances will continue to be adapted. " said the Minister of Finance when giving directions at the inauguration ceremony. Thursday.

In addition, Sri Mulyani said, the promotion and transfer process in this inauguration was part of the goal of the Ministry of Finance's organization to improve itself, namely through the development of its human resources.

This is an enrichment of experience for the ranks of the Ministry of Finance to deepen and improve good intellectually, leadership, and management capabilities.

"I advise all levels of the Ministry of Finance, especially those who are inaugurated today. Never finish studying. Never feel sufficient and adequate. Even though so far achievements have been good," said the Minister of Finance.

Sri Mulyani said that in the future the Ministry of Finance will face challenges due to uncertainty and risks, including a global and geopolitical environment that continues to move, post-COVID-19 conditions, digital technology, climate change, and Indonesia's demographic conditions.

The ranks of the Ministry of Finance must prepare themselves by continuing to increase capacity and technical capabilities.

The Minister of Finance hopes that high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Finance will focus on working and dedicate their career journey to protect the Ministry of Finance because what is done will determine the health of the State Budget as well as public perceptions and the business world towards the Ministry of Finance.
