JAKARTA - The Sulawesi IV River Basin Center (BWS) Kendari, Directorate General of Water Resources (Ditjen) is preparing the Lasusua Beach Security Development in North Kolaka Regency.
The construction of this beach safety is carried out to support the handling of 10.33 kilometers (km) of Lasusua-Tobaku Bypass Road.

Basuki said that the construction of coastal safety will also protect the coast from the risk of abrasion and erosion due to the waves. This effort also encourages vegetation and residential areas around the coast.
"After the design process, I asked first to proceed with physical modeling for the simulation. The design is fitted with physical modeling, so that the coastal safety that is built will function optimally," he said.
Meanwhile, coastal safety is currently being built at Konaweha Beach, Kolaka Regency, which has been implemented in 2023, and will be completed in 2024 with a contract value of Rp. 23.2 billion.
