PT Riota Jaya Lestari Gives A S1 Scholarship To Encourage Education In North Kolaka

PT Riota Jaya Lestari announced the symbolic handover of the S1 scholarship which was attended by the parents of 30 scholarship-winning students. This event was also attended by the implementation of the Community Development and Empowerment program of PT Riota Jaya Lestari, as well as the sub-district heads, and village heads.

This scholarship handover event is an important event in supporting higher education and community empowerment in North Kolaka. This is at the same time realizing the commitment of mining companies in carrying out their social responsibility to improve community welfare through the PPM (Community Development and Empowerment) program under the policies of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Energy and Mineral Resources).

"Education is one of the important foundations in building a better future. With great pride, PT Riota Jaya Lestari provides this scholarship as a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to supporting the younger generation and increasing access to higher education. We hope that students who receive scholarships can make good use of it to achieve their best potential," said Awaluddin, Public Relations of PT Riota Jaya Lestari, in his statement, Thursday, October 19.

Dina Vionetta, PT Riota Jaya Lestari's PPM officer, said that with this program, his party hopes that human resources in these mining ring villages will later participate in building their regions in the future with their respective competencies.

"We at PT Riota Jaya Lestari always stand with the community to oversee regional progress, starting from improving the quality of human resource education in the area," he said.

This event also aims to voice a shared commitment in building human resources in villages through education. PT Riota Jaya Lestari together with local governments are trying to provide equal opportunities for all North Kolaka residents to access higher education.
