PT Timah Setor Pajak Dan PNBP Rp315 Miliar Ke Negara Di Semester I

JAKARTA - PT Timah (Persero) Tbk (TINS) has contributed to non-tax state taxes and revenues (PNBP) worth IDR 315.6 billion to the state during the first semester of 2023.

TINS Corporate Secretary Abdullah Umar revealed that the company recorded an average selling price of tin metal worth US$26,828 per metric ton during the first semester of 2023.

"Timah sebagai komoditas global juga terdampak dari kondisi ekonomi global, peningkatan suku bunga, inflasi AS yang berdampak pada harga komodita tin yang masih berfluktuasi di semester I 2023," ujarnya dalam keterangan yang diterima di Jakarta, Senin.

He said that the global economic condition also had an impact on the business process of this BUMN Holding MIND ID member, but the company continues to strive to improve performance, so that it can contribute to the state, shareholders, and the community.

"The company has a strategy to face the challenges of the global tin industry, such as efficiency, improving production performance in the hope of continuing to increase the contribution of taxes and PNBP to the country," Abdullah said.

PT Timah recorded tax and PNBP contributions over the past four years, namely in 2019 worth IDR 1.2 trillion, in 2020 IDR 677.9 billion, in 2021 IDR 777.657 billion, and in 2022 IDR 1.51 trillion.

With this achievement, the company won the Subroto 2023 award in the field of Mineral and Coal PNBP in the category of Compulsory Payments with the Highest PNBP Payment Compliance Rate from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

During the first semester of 2023, PT Timah posted revenues of IDR 4.57 trillion, resulting in EBITDA of IDR 533.6 billion and profit for the current year of IDR 16.2 billion in that period.

Meanwhile, the company's sales volume was recorded at 8,307 metric tons during the first semester of 2023.
