JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) ensures that customer data security recorded in the Financial Information Service System (SLIK) of the OJK after previously experiencing problems and could not be accessed.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Mirza Adityaswara stated that the information system service has begun to gradually recover since Wednesday, October 4, 2023. At that time, a number of information system services to the public and the financial services industry, such as the OJK website, Consumer Protection Portal Application (APPK), and IdebKu can be accessed again.

"So customer data at SLIK is ensured to be safe and SHIP is carried out periodically in terms of procedures, both daily, weekly, and monthly," Mirza said at a press conference at the OJK Board of Commissioners' Meeting, September, Monday, October 9.

With the regular back-up, he ensures that the amount of data listed in the OJK SLIK is complete.

Mirza also said that the service for providing debtor information needed by banks for credit financing analysis can also be accessed by banks since the SLIK OJK application re-operated on Thursday 5 October at 21.00 WIB.

"And as of Monday, October 9, there have been 702 financial services industries that have matched the slik report," Mirza added.

Mirza also suggested that OJK understands the impact of this disturbance on the financial services industry (IJK) and the community. Therefore, continued Mirza, OJK is trying to recover as soon as possible.

"Website and consumer protection portals on Wednesday 4 October can work again and SLIK, which many people have asked about, is also functioning again," concluded Mirza.
