JAKARTA - The government plans to include the Bandung-Jogja-Solo-Surabaya high-speed rail project into the new National Strategic Project (PSN) list. The new PSN funding will not use APBN funds because it comes from pure private sector.
"Then, we also propose several new PSNs that are purely private in nature, including the Bandung-Jogja-Solo-Surabaya High Speed Train," said Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto as quoted from the Presidential Secretariat YouTube, Saturday, October 7.
Airlangga added that there are other project proposals to be included in the PSN list, such as the construction of smelters in West Kalimantan and the development of oil and gas fields.
"Most of them are smelter construction, including in West Kalimantan there is Borneo Alumina 831 million tons, Alumina 2 million tons, and aluminum 1 million tons," he said.
In addition, Airlangga also said, there are several projects that will be revoked from PSN status because construction work has not yet started and any costs have not been issued from the APBN.
A number of these projects are New Ambon Port, Industrial Estate in Tanggamus Lampung, Baku Water Project in Bali Province, Rantau-Prapat-Kisaran Toll Road, Langsa-Lhokseumawe Toll Road, Lhokseumawe-Sigli Toll Road, Dumai-Sigambal-Rantau Prapat Toll Road, Juanda SPAM, Jatigede SPAM, and Kamijoro SPAM.
"It was all removed from PSN because the project between the offtake agreement and the guarantee of obtaining funding (financial close) has not been completed," he said.
