Many netizens complained that they had been forced to be laid off or affected by layoffs due to the closure of the buying and selling service on TikTok Shop.

One of them is an account with the name @calvinkim93, he said that in his area there is an aci meatball factory and fried meatballs or bas reng that employs housewives. However, due to the new TikTok Shop rules, it is no longer allowed to operate to make employees laid off.

Similarly, an account with the name @claoudierey admitted that 50 people in his office had to be laid off because the TikTok Shop service was stopped.

"Actually, I know you must think carefully about this, only at least before deciding how to solve it first? These are 50 people in my office who are housed, including me," he said.

Meanwhile, an account with the name @rpecros asked Zulkifli Hasan to learn first about trade before becoming Minister of Commerce.

"You should first learn about trade and new MSMEs to become minister of trade. Greetings from MSME practitioners," he wrote.

As if responding to the village that was raised on his social media account, the man who is familiarly called Zulhas emphasized that the government is not anti-trade online. However, he said that the government must organize online trade in the country so that fair trade occurs.

Zulhas has alleged TikTok as social media is still running. He said the government did not ban TikTok. However, its practice must also be as social media.
