Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Train Ticket Tariffs Will Be Announced October 16, 2023

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan revealed that the ticket fare for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train (KCJB) will be announced in the near future.

Furthermore, Luhut said that the ticket price for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train will be priced between IDR 250,000 to IDR 350,000 for one trip.

"Earlier, President Joko Widodo had been informed, around Rp. 250,000 to Rp. 350,000, just wait for October 16," he said at Halim Station, Jakarta, Monday, October 2.

Later, continued Luhut, President Jokowi will announce whether train tickets will be given a discount or not.

"Yes, the President will determine the discount or the discount," he said.

As is known, the first mass transportation mode in Indonesia was just inaugurated today by President Jokowi. The government also decided to continue the trial period until mid-October 2023.

"The trial is free for KCJB, so we agreed until mid-October," he said at the inauguration ceremony of the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train at Halim Station, Monday, October 2.

Luhut explained that the consideration of the free trial decision was carried out because there were still many people who wanted to take part in the trial for free.

Furthermore, Luhut said, the extension of the trial period is so that people can immediately feel the first high-speed train in Indonesia.

"People are invited to immediately experience the benefits of the Jakarta Bandung high-speed train for themselves. Of course, everything is running safely and comfortably thanks to the reliability of the system that has been tested," he said.
