Walkot: Surabaya MSMEs Ready To Produce U-17 World Cup Breeders

JATIM - Mayor of Surabaya Eri Cahyadi stated that micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the City of Heroes are ready to produce knick-knacks for the U-17 World Cup in November 2023.

"MSMEs every RW must move, so our target is as much as possible," said Eri in his statement in Surabaya, Sunday, September 24, which was confiscated by Antara.

Then, he continued, the design of U-17 World Cup knick-knacks is currently being discussed, then curation is carried out before entering the finalization stage.

After completing the design, it is ready to be mass produced and marketed by MSME actors.

"If it is certain then next week we will immediately execute it," he said.

He said that for knick-knacks, his party also refers to FIFA provisions, namely not changing or producing the World Cup mascot by adding another touch.

"What can't be the mascot," said Cak Eri, Eri Cahyadi's nickname.

For this reason, he said, the goods produced by MSME actors did not include the World Cup logo, but designed other designs that still consisted of the championship.

"There are mug, glasses,layers and various things. Anyway, watch the ball," said Cak Eri.

On the other hand, to enliven the Surabaya City Government's U-17 World Cup also places the tournament's official mascot in a number of public spaces in the local area.

"So we will play it later, there is the FIFA U-17 mascot and next to it is Surabaya," he said.

As is known, the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT) of Surabaya City was designated as one of the locations for the U-17 World Cup soccer match.

Not only that, the U-17 Indonesian National Team match also played a match at the stadium.

The opening match starts on November 10, 2023, Bima Sakti's team is scheduled to face the Ecuadorian U-17 National Team.
