Continued Cooperation With SKK Migas, Garuda Indonesia Predicts To Transport 300,000 Passengers

JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia's national airline continues corporate cooperation in the commercial sector with the Special Task Force for the Implementation of Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas).

The extension of this collaboration was carried out on the agenda of the 2023 International Convention on Indonesian Upstream Oil and Gas at Nusa Dua, Bali, Thursday, September 21.

President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra, said that through the extension of the cooperation, Garuda Indonesia projects to carry at least 300,000 passengers.

The passengers consist of SKK Migas and also the SKK Migas Supporting Corporation. This cooperation within the scope of the Corporate Privilege will last until the end of December 2026.

Through this collaboration, Garuda Indonesia will provide special price offers for all SKK Migas employees and corporations supporting SKK Migas, mainly related to travel needs for domestic and international routes in addition to the various other benefits provided.

Furthermore, Irfan said this collaboration was not only an effort by the two companies to optimize business potential but also became Garuda Indonesia's positive participation to support national economic growth. Especially the oil and gas sector through the provision of flight services.

"Through this collaboration, the synergy that has been built can continue to be strengthened and is expected to encourage optimization of business potential, both for Garuda Indonesia and all elements of SKK Migas," said Irfan.

Furthermore, Irfan said the company continues to develop the corporate market share as one of the potential market share.

With the proportion of the corporate market share revenue proportion of around 15 percent of the company's total revenue, the Company believes this corporate market share has the opportunity to be further developed.

Meanwhile, SKK Migas currently makes a positive contribution of 35 percent of the company's total corporate market.

"In the future, as an effort to support the Company's performance growth, Garuda Indonesia will continue to develop various initiatives to support potential business lines including the corporate market by establishing partnerships with various strategic partners," he explained.
