Non-Subsidized Electricity Tariffs Don't Increase Until The End Of The Year, This Is The Amount

JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has decided not to increase electricity tariffs for 13 groups of non-subsidized customers from October to December 2023.

The Director General of Electricity at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jisman P Hutajulu, said that the government is committed to maintaining people's purchasing power and competitiveness in the business and industrial sectors.

Furthermore, Jisman said, electricity tariffs for 25 subsidized groups of customers also did not change, and electricity subsidies were still provided, including social customers, poor households, small businesses, small industries, and customers whose electricity allocation is for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

"The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources continues to encourage PT PLN (Persero) to always try to take operational efficiency steps and spur sales of electricity more aggressively," concluded Jisman.

The following is a list of electricity rates for 13 non-subsidized groups from October to December:

1. Group R-1/TR power 900 VA, IDR 1,352 per kWh.

2. Group R-1/TR power 1,300 VA, IDR 1,444.70 per kWh.

3. Group R-1/TR power 2,200 VA, IDR 1,444.70 per kWh.

4. Group R-2/TR power 3,500-5,500 VA, IDR 1,699.53 per kWh.

5. Group R-3/TR power 6,600 VA and above, IDR 1,699.53 per kWh.

6. Group B-2/TR power 6,600 VA-200 kVA, IDR 1,444.70 per kWh.

7. Group B-3 / Medium Voltage (TM) power above 200 kVA, IDR 1,114.74 per kWh.

8. Group I-3/TM power above 200 kVA, Rp1,114.74 per kWh.

9. Group I-4/High Voltage (TT) with a power of 30,000 kVA and above, IDR 996.74 per kWh.

10. Group P-1/TR power 6,600 VA-200 kVA, IDR 1,699.53 per kWh.

11. Group P-2/TM power above 200 kVA, IDR 1,522.88 per kWh.

12. Group P-3 / TR for public street lighting, IDR 1,699.53 per kWh.

13. Group L/TR, TM, TT, IDR 1,644.52 per kWh.
