Jasa Marga Urges Road Users To Anticipate The Impact Of Japek Toll Road Repairs

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) appealed to all road users to anticipate travel while crossing the Jakarta-Cikampek or Japek Toll Road as a result of road repairs on the section this weekend.

"We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the existence of the work," said Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT JTT Amri Sanusi quoting Antara, Saturday, August 12.

He asked road users to ensure that the vehicle was in prime condition, had sufficient electronic money balance, refueled before starting the trip, and be careful and obey signs, especially around the location of the work.

"There is no road closure during the repair work. The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to Jakarta or Cikampek direction is still operating normally," he said.

Road users can also access information about Jasa Marga Group Toll Road traffic through the One Call Center 24 hours at 14080 and the Travoy 4.1 application for iOS and Android users.

Amri explained that the road repair work on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road is an effort to improve the safety and comfort of road users as well as fulfill the minimum service standards for Toll Road Business Entities.

Road maintenance work this weekend will be carried out at the East Karawang 1 Intersection along 127.7 meters starting Friday (11/8) at 19.00 WIB until Monday (14/8) at 13.00 WIB.

Similar road repairs work is also carried out along 60 meters at Kilometer points (KM) 13+760 to KM 13+700 on the outer shoulder of Jakarta with an estimated working time starting Friday (11/8) at 21.00 WIB until Monday (14/8) at 03.00 WIB.

His party has prepared risk mitigation, including diverting the affected traffic flow before the work area, narrowing the work area, preparing the opposite direction if the traffic conditions are congested, and coordinating with related agencies in terms of traffic regulation.

"We have also socialized work plans by installing outdoor media in the form of job appeal banners and Variable Message Signs in both directions of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to ensure this information is well received by road users," he said.
