Want To Reach A Deeper Community, Pertamina Will Increase The Number Of Elpiji Bases

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga plans to continue to increase the number of 3 kilograms (Kg) LPG bases throughout Indonesia.

President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Riva Siahaan, the addition of the number of bases aims to reach the community more deeply.

"Currently, we are trying to increase the number of bases in relation to reach the community even deeper and further so that it makes it easier for people to get 3 kg of LPG," Riva said in a press conference quoted Friday, August 4.

Riva detailed that currently Pertamina has 46 LPG terminals spread across Indonesian territory, 699 LPG stations or SPBE and 5,200 agents spread across areas that consume 3 Kg of LPG, namely from Sumatra to Sulawesi and 244,000 3 kg LPG bases.

Riva explained that from year to year the trend of increasing the number of bases continued to increase by 10 percent.

The increase in the number of bases, he said, is in accordance with the needs and number of consumers in the region.

"That's why the analysis and process are very important for us to find out the number of consumers who are the target of this 3 kg LPG," explained Riva.

For this reason, Riva revealed, if his party continues to record consumers by using the digital system to ensure that the distribution of melon canister gas is right on target.

Based on data from Pertamina Patra Niaga, as of July 2023, there have been 6.7 million registered subscribers in the system.

"We do this data collection system directly using the digitalization system and until now as of July 31, 2023, there are 6.7 million consumers who have entered," explained Riva.
