The Ministry Of PUPR Completes Flat Construction For MBR And ASN In West Java

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has completed the construction of flats (rusun) for low-income people (MBR) and state civil servants (ASN) of the West Java Provincial Government.

"Rusun untuk MBR dan ASN ini merupakan salah satu program yang dilaksanakan oleh Kementerian PUPR untuk menyediakan hunian layak huni. Kami harap masyarakat bisa segera menghuni dan nyaman tinggal di hunian vertical tersebut karena fasilitasnya sudah lengkap dengan furnitur di dalam unit hunian," ujar Direktur Jenderal Perumahan Kementerian PUPR Iwan Suprijanto dalam keterangannya di Jakarta, dikutip dari Antara, Kamis 20 Juli.

According to Iwan, the construction of flats and supporting infrastructure is the result of the collaboration between the Ministry of PUPR and the West Java Provincial Government.

In the future, his party hopes that local governments from the provincial to district/city levels can encourage infrastructure and housing development programs to improve the welfare of the people throughout Indonesia.

The flats built by the Ministry of PUPR for MBR and ASN for the West Java Provincial Government are now habitable.

The vertical residence, which is located on Jalan Raya Purwakarta-Subang, Cibatu District, Purwakarta Regency, was built one tower as high as three floors with 44 type 36 residential units and has been equipped with furniture, so that residents can directly occupy and do not need to carry many household items.

Head of the Java II Housing Provision II Center (BP2P) of the Ministry of PUPR Ki Agoos Egie Ismail said the flats could accommodate 176 people.

"We have also equipped this flat with furniture, namely the main sleeping mattress, level mattress, dining table, guest table, guest sofa and chairs as well as wardrobes," he said.

In addition, the flats are also equipped with facilities for the management room, multipurpose space and public toilets so that residents can directly occupy and do not need to bring a lot of household items and we hope that they can be managed properly later.

The concept of the flat is to improve people's welfare by providing housing close to the work location and how to synergize between parties to provide flats close to their workplaces.

This flat is like a transit apartment intended for MBR, workers, factory workers, class III ASN and also non-ASN.
