JAKARTA - A subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero), PLN Icon Plus cooperates with 10 partners to serve the use of Rooftop PLTS with a total capacity of 187 megawatt peak (MWp). This collaboration is carried out through a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Joint Operations for providing solar/photovoltaic power generation (PV) services on the rooftop.
The ten partners include; PT Masdar Mitra Solar Radiance, PT Energia Prima Nusantara, PT Tripower Solar Nusantara, PT Surya Utama Nuansa, PT Xurya Daya Indonesia, PT Prima Perkasa Teknik Indonesia, PT Surya Energi Indotama, PT Investasi Hijau Selaras, PT ATW Solar Residential, and PT Agra Surya Energi.
PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo explained that PLN fully supports the involvement of industry and various parties to be able to increase the New and Renewable Energy mix (EBT) in Indonesia. Moreover, Indonesia has a large solar energy potential so that its utilization can be maximized.
"This collaboration is proof that PLN fully supports the government's plan to increase the EBT mix, one of which is through the Roof PLTS," Darmawan told the media, Monday, July 17.
Di sisi lain, Direktur Utama PLN Icon Plus Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi juga menekankan sebagai subholding PLN di bisnis Beyond KwH, PLN Icon Plus mengembangkan bisnis di luar bisnis kelistrikan.
