President Director of PT JJB AJ Dwi Winarsa said, overall the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road route was divided into 6 sections with a total length of 76.3 km toll roads.

Regarding land acquisition for the construction project of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road, PT JJB continues to coordinate with the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) for Land Procurement of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR, the National Defense Agency for the Yogyakarta Special Region Office of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) and the State Asset Management Agency (LMAN).
"The construction of toll roads will continue to pay attention to historical aspects of the Yogyakarta Palace and cultural and ancient heritage sites located in the Yogyakarta region," said Dwi.
Meanwhile, in terms of reforestation, said Dwi, his party is targeting the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road to develop a number of toll road beautification programs that are not only beautiful and comfortable, but also pay attention to the safety aspects of road users.
In accordance with the development targets and priorities in the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road project, construction work which is currently a priority is construction for Section 1 JC Sleman-Simpang Susun (SS) Banyurejo along 8.8 lm and Section 6 SS Ambarawa-JC Bawen along 6.3 km.
Construction for these two sections is targeted to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024 which will operate first.
"For section 6 SS Ambarawa-JC Bawen, it will be connected to the Semarang-Solo Toll Road. After that, the construction progress will be continued in three other sections, namely Section 2 SS Banyurejo-Borobudur, Section 3 Borobudur-SS Magelang, and Section 4 SS Magelang-SS Temanggung," said Dwi.
Dwi added, Section 5 SS Temanggung-SS Ambarawa along 21.4 km will be the last section that is a construction priority and will complete the operation of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road in full.
