Capture Digital Transaction Potential, Bank Mandiri Introduces Livin' Around The World In Hong Kong

Bank Mandiri continues to expand its acceptance and acquisition of digital services through Super App Livin' by Mandiri. Not only domestically, since 2023 yesterday this mainstay digital application of Bank Mandiri has been enjoyed by people in foreign countries ranging from Hong Kong, United States (US), South Korea, United Arab Emirates to 120 countries.

Bank Mandiri Information Technology Director Tim Utama said, through the presence of a service titled Livin' Around The World, Indonesian citizens (WNI) who are abroad can easily open accounts and transact with Livin' by Mandiri like in their own country.

"Bank Mandiri encourages all digitized services in total to be present as a one-stop financial solution for customers, including Livin' by Mandiri who are able to greet directly the Indonesian people in various parts of the world," said Tim in Hong Kong, Sunday 9 July.

Now, the opening service for accounts abroad in Livin' by Mandiri continues to show an increase. Noted, accounts with overseas numbers grew 4 times in the last six months.

Held as a series of Independent Programs on Sunday, the Livin' Around The World launch ceremony in Hong Kong invited thousands of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) who are expected to take advantage of this digital banking innovation.

One of the leading benefits offered by Livin' Around The World is that customers and prospective customers who are abroad can use the local state's SIM Card number to open accounts and transact.

Not only the need for financial transactions, Livin' is also able to support customer future investments through various features such as Plan Savings or Saving Plans, Deposito to the purchase of Mutual Funds and bonds in the Investment feature.

In addition, Bank Mandiri has also complemented customers' lifestyle needs such as purchasing plane tickets back to Indonesia, and various other services through the Sukha feature.

"The global feature of Livin' by Mandiri can also facilitate various transaction needs for Indonesian diaspora in various parts of the world. One of them is the main goal of more than 150 thousand Indonesian diaspora or countries that are global business centers such as Hong Kong," concluded the team.

As additional information, until June 2023, Livin' by Mandiri has been downloaded almost 28 million times. The digital platform has also managed more than 1.3 billion transactions. Increased 70 percent year-on-year (YoY).

Likewise, the total value of Livin' by Mandiri transactions reached IDR 1,500 trillion. Soaring 65 percent YoY, in line with the need for customer financial solutions.
