Director And Office Of Antam Examined By The Attorney General's Office, Special Staff Of The Minister Of SOEs: If There Is A Violation, It Must Be Cleaned

JAKARTA - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) has opened its discussion about the Attorney General's Office (AGO) searching the Office and examining the Director of PT Aneka Tambang or Antam regarding allegations of corruption in the management of gold commodity business activities.

The Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs, Arya Sinulingga, said that if the AGO finds corruption in state-owned companies, then it is appropriate to follow up.

However, Arya assessed that if you look at it in more detail, the majority of corruption cases that occurred at PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) were past cases.

"We'll see what year it will be (the incident) not now. So it's just being processed. The Ministry of SOEs supports it," Arya said when met at the Jakarta Ministry of SOEs Office, written Thursday, June 22.

Furthermore, Arya said this was also in line with the commitment of the Ministry of SOEs to continue promoting cleaning programs in all state-owned companies.

"We have also collaborated with friends at the Prosecutor's Office, so we support what is being done at the AGO. If there is a violation, it must be cleaned up," he said.

Arya also said the Ministry of SOEs constantly reminded all leaders in state-owned companies to carry out their duties in accordance with the established corridors.

"We also remind our friends in BUMN not to violate the predetermined lines," he concluded.

For your information, the AGO has again examined PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) officials in the case of alleged corrupt practices in gold commodity business activities.

On Tuesday, June 20, the AGO questioned four Antam officials. One of them is Antam's Director of Finance and Risk Management, Elisabeth RT Siahaan.

In addition to the Director of Finance and Risk Management, the AGO also examined three Antam officials at the manager level. They are M as Marketing Manager for Antam for the 2010-2011 period.

Then, BW Marketing Manager Antam for the 2011-2014 period, as well as concurrently Refining Manager and AM of Antam Silver Purification for the 2010 period, and Business Development and Engineering Manager Antam for the 2011 period.

Finally, AK as the Marketing Manager of Antam for the 2015-2017 period, and concurrently the Refinery Bureau Head of Antam for the 2013 period, Refining Manager of Antam 2014, dqn Finance Bureau Head Antam for the 2016 period.
