BRI: Money Turnover For The Indonesian National Team Vs Argentina Rp500 Billion

JAKARTA PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. (BRI) reports that as many as 20,000 tickets for the match between the Indonesian vs Argentina national team have been purchased by BRI customers.

BRI President Director Sunarso expressed his pride for the enthusiasm of fans in the success of this match.

"This match not only arouses the passion of national football, but also creates a significant economic impact on the community," he said in a press release today, Sunday, June 18.

According to Sunarso, the Indonesia vs Argentina match is believed to bring economic benefits of up to hundreds of billions of rupiah.

"Based on the results of the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF) research, tomorrow's match is projected to gain a circulation of Rp500 billion," he said.

Sunarso added, this means that the grand event has the potential to improve the community's economy, including MSME players.

BRI's involvement in the FIFA Match Day Indonesia vs Argentina match is a form of support for national football so that it can continue to record achievements in the global arena. On the other hand, this match will provide good opportunities and potential to move the economy, including for MSMEs involved in this match," he said.

On the same occasion, PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir appreciated the enthusiasm of the fans who continued to faithfully support the Garuda squad to compete.

"The sale of FIFA Match Day tickets: Indonesia vs Argentina on the first day specifically for BRI customers has expired within 15 minutes. Thank you very much for your enthusiasm, Garuda pal," said Erick, who also serves as Minister of SOEs.

As is known, the owners of the electronic ticket (e-ticket) have started exchanging them for physical tickets on June 16, 2023.

All exchanges only took place at Wisma Serbaguna GBK at 10.00 WIB 17.00 WIB and divided into three stages.

Starting from June 16, the exchange was specifically for ticket owners for category III, then on June 17 for all special categories of Jabodetabek spectators, lastly on June 19, 2023 specifically for spectators from outside Jabodetabek along with match day.
