JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Human Settlements has signed 38 special packages for the construction of IKN Nusantara in the Fiscal Year (TA) 2023.

Director General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of PUPR Diana Kusumastuti said that her party had carried out a tender or selection for the IKN FY 2023 special package as many as 38 packages with a total value of IDR 5.33 trillion.

"For the tender status in 2023, of the 625 contract packages at the Directorate General of Human Settlements, 587 packages are regular packages with a total of Rp4.01 trillion and 38 packages are IKN activity packages, a total of Rp5.33 trillion," Diana said in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 13.

Diana said, as many as 23 packages were still in the tender process, 15 IKN packages or Rp. 2.64 trillion had been determined, and as many as 9 out of 15 packages that had been determined were already in the construction stage.

"Meanwhile, these 38 IKN development packages, 15 packages have been released in the auction and also these 9 packages have started to switch to the construction stage, including land development at 1B, then land development 1C, and also the construction of a drinking water transmission pipeline for SPAM Sepaku Package 1," he said.

Furthermore, said Diana, his party is targeting 23 packages to be auctioned in the near future.

"As many as 23 packages of IKN activities that have not been auctioned, hopefully we can auction them on the second or third Sunday this June," he concluded.

Previously, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) would auction off 30 packages of IKN Nusantara development projects with a value of IDR 23.7 trillion this year.

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said this auction was conducted to find investors who later deserved and wanted to work on basic infrastructure. Meanwhile, the budget is planned to come from the state budget.
