There Is No Special Memo That Jusuf Hamka Asked Mahfud MD About Debt Bills To The Ministry Of Finance

JAKARTA - The owner of PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk. (CMNP) Jusuf Hamka emphasized that he did not ask for a special memo from the Minister of Politics, Law and Security (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD regarding the issues that involved his company with the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).

He emphasized this to reporters when visiting the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs in Jakarta today.

"Oh no (ask for a memo)," he said on Tuesday, June 13.

Jusuf explained that his arrival was an initial effort to provide clarification from CMNP. He said the meeting took place in the not too distant future because it was still preliminary.

"The meeting is fast because this is an elementARY or preliminary," he said.

Jusuf also admitted that on this occasion he had not met the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

"Earlier I was summoned by Mr. Sesmenko (Secretary) Polhukam to explain what the problem is," he said.

"So it will be more complete later. God willing, I will be summoned by Mr. Mahfud, whether today or tomorrow. He will inform you later," he said.

Previously, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD was willing to become a facilitator to solve the problem between PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada and the Ministry of Finance.

In fact, he is known to offer himself to provide assistance to Jusuf Hamka if he needs administrative support.

"Please Mr. Jusuf Hamka directly to the Ministry of Finance, later if you need technical assistance I can help, for example by memos or the necessary documents, if you need them," he quoted Antara as saying.

Meanwhile, Mahfud's attitude is based on President Joko Widodo's mandate to be the coordinator of the government's debt payments and receivables to the private sector. In addition, CMNP was recorded as winning a lawsuit at the Supreme Court level.
