Sumber Tani Agung Bakal Bagi-Dividend Hingga Rp501 Miliar

JAKARTA - PT Sumber Tani Agung Resources Tbk at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) approved the immediate distribution of cash dividends of IDR 501.55 billion on June 22, 2023.

The palm oil plantation company will distribute the cash dividend equivalent to 45 percent of the company's profit for the 2022 financial year which is IDR 1.11 trillion, or equivalent to IDR 46 per share, citing Antara.

In detail, the schedule for distributing dividends of companies coded STAA, including cum regular market dividends and negotiations scheduled for May 29, 2023, ex regular market dividends and negotiations scheduled for May 30, 2023, and cum cash market dividends scheduled for May 31, 2023.

Then, ex-cash market dividends are scheduled for June 5, 2023, recording date entitled to dividends is scheduled for May 31, 2023, and finally, dividend distribution is scheduled for June 22, 2023.

The company owned by a conglomerate from Medan, Suwandi Sudjaja, recorded a decline in revenue during the first quarter of 2023, as Crude Palm Oil (CPO) production decreased due to cycles in Indonesia.

The company recorded net sales of IDR 1.16 trillion in the first quarter of 2023, or a decrease of 28.78 percent year on year (yoy) from the previous IDR 1.63 trillion in the same period the previous year.

Sales of palm oil were recorded at Rp1 trillion or decreased 23.11 percent (yoy), sales of palm oil amounted to Rp95.32 billion or decreased 56.09 percent (yoy), and sales of palm kernel amounted to Rp32.11 billion or decreased by 55.74 percent (yoy).

Then, sales of palm oil stalls amounted to Rp22.62 billion or decreased 27.59 percent (yoy), sales of fresh fruit bunches amounted to Rp8.47 billion or decreased 42.05 percent (yoy), and sales of palm oil of Rp65 million decreased 98.64 percent (yoy).

In addition, the production of fresh fruit bunches also decreased by 0.96 percent (yoy) to 205,000 tons in the first quarter of 2023, CPO production decreased by 1.2 percent (yoy) to 79,347 tons, and palm kernel production decreased by 2.59 percent (yoy) to 16,987 tons.
