Sri Mulyani Set 19 Names For Passing Selection II Candidates For The OJK Board Of Commissioners

JAKARTA Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani as Chair of the Selection Committee for Candidates for Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the 2023 '2028 period, has decided on 19 names who passed the second phase of the selection. The number of participants has narrowed from the previous 45 people in the first phase of selection.

In a press statement broadcast today, it was stated that the phase II selection that had been undertaken was an input assessment from the public, track record, and paper.

"The selection committee's decision is final, binding, and cannot be contested," Sri Mulyani said in a written statement today, Friday, May 19.

The state treasurer explained that all participants who passed were required to take part in the phase III selection. namely the assessment which will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 and a health check on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

He also said that prospective members of the OJK Board of Commissioners who will carry out the assessment must take part in the briefing on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 16.00 WIB through a video conference media with a link that will be submitted via email to each other.

"The cost of accommodation, transportation, and personal costs incurred by participants in order to participate in the phase III selection are not borne by the selection committee," he said.

VOI noted that the authorities are currently opening two vacancies that are currently being contested. First, the Chief Executive of Financing Institutions, Ventura Capital Companies, Micro Financial Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions concurrently a member of the Board of Commissioners.

Second, the Chief Executive of the Financial, Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets Technology Innovation Supervision concurrently a member of the Board of Commissioners.
