Lion Air Supports the ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, Provides 6.804 Seats for the Surabaya - Labuan Bajo Route

JAKARTA - Lion Air Group is also supporting the holding of the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo by providing 6.804 seats. Direct flights will be prepared from Surabaya - Labuan Bajo and Labuan Bajo - Surabaya for the period 1 - 18 May 2023 and offer connections from various other cities via Surabaya to Labuan Bajo.

With the availability of direct flights, the travel time to Labuan Bajo will be shorter and more efficient, thereby increasing the comfort of delegates, business people, tourists, and the public.

Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro said that in support of the event, Lion Air operated the latest generation of aircraft directly imported from the aircraft manufacturer, namely the Boeing 737-800NG with a capacity of 189 economy class seats.

"Boeing 737-800NG is an aircraft that has been proven safe and reliable in the aviation industry, so passengers can feel safe and calm during flights," Danang said in a written statement, quoted on Tuesday, May 2.

Lion Air is optimistic that the collaboration between tourism and airlines, Labuan Bajo will be easier to reach and become more popular.
