Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani revealed that the realization of the budget in the health sector increased by 28.1 percent as of March 2023.

The government noted that it had realized a budget in the health sector of IDR 28.5 trillion.

"If we look at the last 3 years, it is already higher than in 2021 when the pandemic occurred, it is higher than 2022 which is only IDR 22.2 trillion. In fact, it is close to spending on a very high pandemic in 2021. Its utilization starts from teaching salaries, scholarships, school operating costs, to allowances for civil servant and non-civil servant professions," said Sri Mulyani.

In the infrastructure sector, the Government has realized a thematic budget of 42.4 trillion, a slight increase of 1.8 percent.

For its utilization, Rp. 22.4 trillion was used through K/L spending, Rp. 14.0 trillion through TKD, and through financing of Rp. 6.0 trillion for distribution of housing financing to 16,647 housing units.

"We also build clean water facilities because this is very much needed by the community so that they can grow and be healthy by getting access to clean water," he concluded.
