Angkasa Pura I Predicts Will Serve 3.9 Percent Of Passenger Movement During The Lebaran Homecoming Period

JAKARTA PT Angkasa Pura I predicts that it will serve 3.9 million passengers during the Lebaran 2023 homecoming period.

This number increased by 34 percent compared to the realization of passenger movements on Eid 2022 transportation.

Meanwhile, aircraft movement traffic is predicted to reach 31,876 movements, growing 25 percent compared to the realization of the movement of the 2022 Eid Transport aircraft which is 25,463 movements.

President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I Faik Fahmi said that during this year's Eid Transport period, it is predicted that there will be an increase in community mobility in traveling. In general, it is predicted that there will be as many as 123.8 million travelers or grow 45 percent compared to last year.

"Angkasa Pura I as the manager of 15 airports in Indonesia predicts that it will serve 3.9 million travelers, growing by 34 percent compared to the realization in 2022," Faik told reporters, written Thursday, April 13.

In terms of airport infrastructure, said Faik, Angkasa Pura I is preparing 15 airports that are managed to serve the needs of the community to travel during the Eid 2023 transportation period.

To deal with the potential spike in travelers this year, continued Faik, Angkasa Pura I will also alert the Lebaran Transportation Post at 15 airports that will operate from April 14 to May 2.

"Through the quality of airport infrastructure and services, we are optimistic and express readiness to serve airport service users during this year's Eid Transport period," he said.

Especially at the moment before Eid al-Fitr, said Faik, Angkasa Pura I also carried out several service programs and activation of marketing to further improve service quality for service users.

Among them are the distribution of free takjil to passengers, as well as strengthening the atmosphere (ambience) at airport terminals through decorations, live music with the theme of Ramadan, and the use of uniforms for airport officials with the theme Eid.

"Meanwhile, for marketing activation, we use the company's social media to interact with hearings, as well as collaborate with business partners at airport terminals," he concluded.
