JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI noted that long-distance train tickets during the Lebaran 2023 homecoming period were only sold as much as 46 percent per day.

The tickets sold were for train departures in the period 12 to 3 May 2023.

Joni revealed that the period before Lebaran was dominated by passengers from the West (Jakarta or Bandung) towards the East (Central Java and East Java).

"For the period after Lebaran, passengers from the East (Central Java or East Java) are dominated towards the West (Jakarta or Bandung)," he said.
