Low Revenue, Semen Indonesia Successfully Raises 2022 Net Profit To 15.54 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR) recorded a net profit of IDR 2.36 trillion in 2022. This achievement rose 15.54 percent compared to the previous year's IDR 2.05 trillion.

Quoting information disclosure, Monday, March 13, although net profit has increased, SMGR's revenue has decreased slightly by 0.88 percent. The amount of revenue in 2022 is IDR 36.38 trillion compared to IDR 36.7 trillion in the previous year.

In detail, cement income from related parties decreased by 7.82 percent to Rp2.01 trillion from Rp2.18 trillion. Likewise, the finished and ready-made concrete income from related parties fell to Rp172.64 billion.

Meanwhile, others from related parties decreased to IDR 18.84 billion in 2022. Thus, income from related parties decreased to IDR 2.2 trillion.

Meanwhile, from third parties, cement revenue increased to IDR 28.73 trillion. income from terak decreased to IDR 2.47 trillion.

The revenue of ready and ready to use and non-cement building materials reached Rp1.67 trillion and Rp576.99 billion, respectively. Meanwhile, land rentals and others reached Rp50.75 billion and Rp564.56 billion, respectively.

Thus, revenue from third parties reached IDR 34.18 trillion in 2022. This achievement decreased compared to the previous year's IDR 34.27 trillion.

If you look at the cost of revenue, it also increased to IDR 25.7 trillion. So, the company's gross profit also fell to IDR 10.68 trillion.

SMGR has total assets of IDR 82.96 trillion at the end of 2022, an increase of 1.46 percent compared to the company's total assets in 2021, which is IDR 81.77 trillion.

At the end of 2022, SMGR has a total liabilities of IDR 33.27 trillion. At the same time, the amount of SMGR equity reached IDR 47.24 trillion.
