How To Buy An Electric Motorbike Through PLN Mobile, Check Here!

JAKARTA - People can now buy electric motorbikes through PLN Mobile. Through the Electric Vehicle (EV) menu, PLN has collaborated with motor manufacturers Volta, GESITS, and SELIS to make it easier for people to choose their favorite electric motorbike.

Main Director of PLN Darmawan Prasodjo explained the steps taken by PLN together with Himbara and the electric motor manufacturers were to welcome the government's policy of providing assistance at a price discount of IDR 7 million per unit of an electric motorbike for the community.

"The government has stated that there is an incentive of Rp. 7 million for every purchase of an electric motorbike that has a minimum domestic content level (TKDN) of 40 percent. For this reason, PLN, Himbara, and electric motorbike manufacturers are here in order to build an electric vehicle ecosystem so and government can run effectively," said Darmawan.

To purchase an electric motorbike through the PLN Mobile application, customers only need to follow a few steps, namely:

1. Select the "Marketplace" menu

2. Select the category "Electric Vehicles"

3. Select Marketplaces

4. Select the type of motor as desired

5. Select the "Order Now" button

6. Fill in "Delivery Address" (for new users)

7. Select the "Delivery by Seller" button in the delivery courier

8. The order will be verified

9. Select the payment channel

10. Make payments according to the verification results

11. Confirmed order and waiting for delivery

In the payment channel, the public can directly choose the credit package offered by the Association of State Banks (Himbara). Through collaboration with BNI, BRI, Mandiri, BTN, and BSI, the public can access light credit services for electric motorbike ownership offered by each bank.

In addition to the IDR 7 million discount, PLN has also prepared discount vouchers for electricity rates. This voucher is automatically obtained by customers who own an electric motorbike for the first time.

"This voucher can later be used for both postpaid and prepaid customers who use tokens. PLN also provides various attractive promos for people who transact via PLN Mobile," said Darmawan.

Through the EV platform on the PLN Mobile application, it will also be easier for the public to find out the location of the nearest Public Electric Vehicle Battery Exchange Station (SPBKLU). Through this platform, the public can also monitor expenses for charging electric motorbikes.
