Depo Plumpang Fire, Pertamina President Director Will Evaluate According To The Direction Of The Minister Of SOEs

JAKARTA - Pertamina's President Director, Nicke Widyawati, said that her party is ready to further evaluate the impact of the Pertamina Plumpang Depot fire, Koja, North Jakarta. The evaluation is of course in accordance with the direction of the Minister of SOEs.

Nicke said this evaluation was not only for depots in Plumpang, but also for all other Pertamina assets.

"This is also in accordance with the direction of the Minister of SOEs that not only in Plumpang, but also in all assets of Pertamina and other SOEs for further evaluation," said Nicke, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, March 4.

According to him, this aims to see a better arrangement and ensure that the community is safe.

"So we will also conduct further evaluations in accordance with the direction of the Minister of SOEs," he said.

Previously, SOE Minister Erick Thohir said that he would rearrange all vital objects managed by SOEs in order to have clear and safe boundaries for the community. The SOE includes Pertamina.

Erick said that rearranging of national vital object boundaries with settlements is a must so that the incident of the Plumpang Fuel Terminal does not happen again.

He has also ordered three state-owned companies, namely Pertamina, MIND ID, and PLN, to immediately form a business risk team.
