JAKARTA - PT RMK Energy Tbk (RMKE) managed to record an increase in coal shipments of up to 99.67 percent (year to year) in January 2023.

The company managed to transport 623.9 thousand tons of coal in January 2023. The reason is that this is the highest volume of low-season coal services for the last five years.

From the coal sales segment, he continued, RMKE managed to sell 135.10 thousand tons of coal in January 2023, which was the highest low-season coal sales volume for the last 5 years.

This coal logistics service issuer continuously sees opportunities for collaboration in the energy sector to increase the volume of coal services and sales in the future.

RMKE recorded a net operating profit that increased 153.9 percent year on year (yoy) to IDR 296.37 billion until the third quarter of 2022, which was driven by an increase in operating income which increased by 121.66 percent to IDR 1.9 trillion.
