JAKARTA - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) explained the realization of the absorption of the 2022 Fiscal Year (TA) before Commission X DPR RI, recently.
In a working meeting with Commission X DPR RI, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno said a budget ceiling of IDR 3.5 trillion had been realized with a percentage of 97.13 percent.
"Thanks to the guidance and prayers of the leadership of Commission X, as well as all the support of our tourism and creative society, in total IDR 3,491,583,032,526 or 97.13 percent has been realized in 2022," Sandiaga said in his official statement, quoted on Friday, January 27.
Sandiaga explained that the total realization of this budget ceiling is divided into three programs. First, the realization of tourism programs and the creative economy is 98.14 percent, the education and vocational training programs are 97.1 percent, and the management support program is 95.53 percent.
On this occasion, Sandiaga also explained a number of achievements in the tourism sector in Indonesia throughout 2022.
Some of these achievements include Indonesia's success in achieving its 32nd rank in the Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI), increasing the contribution of tourism gross domestic product (GDP) from 2.4 percent in 2021 to 3.6 percent in 2022, increasing the value of tourism foreign exchange from 0.52 billion US dollars in 2021 to 4.26 billion US dollars in 2022, and increasing the added value of the creative economy from IDR 1,191 trillion in 2021 to IDR 1,236 trillion in 2022.
