UOB Launches Digital Platform For Corporate And SME Customers

JAKARTA - UOB Indonesia launched UOB Infinity, a digital platform that enables businesses to manage banking needs for corporate and SME customers.

Head of Transaction Banking UOB Indonesia Wong Kartyono said, this platform can be customized so that customers can prioritize and display financial information in real time, such as transaction status, pending matters, and other account information.

"Customers can manage various international and domestic banking activities, from checking UOB accounts in a number of countries to making local and international payments conveniently and on a single platform," he said in a statement to the media, Wednesday 18 January.

Kartyono continued, in 2022, the number of UOB Indonesia customers using digital services would increase by 28 percent compared to the previous year.

They account for 30 percent of the year-over-year growth in online payment volumes.

Real Time transaction tracking

Apart from Indonesia, regional areas have also experienced an increase in the use of fund transfer services.

As the number of e-commerce and consumer behavior increases in transactions, domestic real-time payments have experienced double-digit growth across ASEAN.

"For this reason, UOB Infinity has combined the BI-FAST feature which makes it easier for customers to make real-time domestic payments at a lower cost," he continued.

He added, UOB Infinity also answered concerns among corporate treasurers, namely the lack of tracking payments between countries in real-time.

This digital solution provides real-time tracking to the business world via SWIFT for the status of remittances, as well as transparency of transaction costs between countries.

Especially for domestic and international transactions, UOB Infinity offers shortcuts and widgets to help customers complete transactions more quickly.

There is a guide in each menu that guarantees users in making transactions.

"Through UOB Infinity, we are committed to developing digital solutions that enable customers to carry out banking activities more conveniently and easily. UOB Infinity is designed based on customer insights that are tailored to their business needs. This platform provides a user-friendly interface and a customized experience. More importantly "This platform helps customers increase productivity and business performance," he explained.

UOB Infinity can be accessed via a computer or laptop.

The mobile application will also be launched in the first quarter of 2023 with a digital token that will allow customers to use their mobile phones to prove authenticity in accessing their UOB Infinity account.
