JAKARTA - Xurya Daya Indonesia (Xurya) as a local startup for renewable energy that pioneered the Rp0 (no upfront cost) method in financing Roof PLTS, has carried out business expansion and achieved various successes in developing a Roof PLTS installation project for industries throughout 2022.
It was noted that Xurya managed to produce 589,713,411 kWh of clean energy which was effective in warding off as many as 548,433,500 kg of CO2, and succeeded in opening up green jobs for 1,792 people.
In line with the government which has a target of achieving the national energy mix of New Renewable Energy (EBT) by 23 percent in 2025, Xurya contributes to reaching more industries to start installing Roof PLTS in various regions in Indonesia.
Xurya has carried out more than 100 Roof PLTS installation projects in Indonesia, with details of 86 already operating Roof PLTS Projects, as well as 32 other roof PLTS projects that are still under construction.
Managing Director Xurya Eka Himawan said the government's policies and directives regarding the use of Roof PLTS for industry were one of the factors in the increase in demand for Roof PLTS installations.
Until the end of 2022, Xurya has carried out business expansion by opening branch offices to various regions in Indonesia, namely Medan, Semarang, and Surabaya to reach more industries to start using Roof PLTS.
"The various achievements achieved by Xurya also have an impact on the availability of thousands of green workers' fields. This is one of Xurya's commitments not only to focus on the Roof PLTS installation, but also to contribute to green economic growth in Indonesia," said Eka in his press statement, quoted Thursday, January 12.

Xurya's success was also marked by several fundings obtained throughout 2022 with a total of 33 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp501 billion.
With this total funding, Xurya will expand the construction of the Roof PLTS in Indonesia to accelerate the energy transition and Net Zero Emission.
In addition, Xurya also received several awards for its commitment and contribution in reforestationing Indonesia, including Best Commercial & Industry (CNI) Project by Huawei Indonesia, Top Startup Green Renewable Energy by G20 Digital Innovation Network (DIN) 2022, and obtaining ISO certification.
